The Powerhouse Discovery Centre Open Day

 

Highlights of the day include: Illustrated lectures by Powerhouse curators marking the anniversary of the Apollo landing and Australian aviation firsts. A lecture by renowned vintage aircraft restorer and pilot, Dr Roy Fox. Aviation enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet aviation artist John Stewart Jones. There are opportunities to go behind-the-scenes to tour significant aviation and space-related objects in the Museum’s collection and our younger visitors can decorate a beautiful hot air balloon cut-out to take home.
